Winter is beautiful. Back when we were still contemplating the idea of living up here full time I had nightmares about winter driving, especially in the dark. That still terrifies me, but the good thing about not having a regular job is that you can stay home if conditions are bad. Looks like I will be getting some knitting and chores done over the next few days with snow in the forecast and a low of -18 degrees tonight. More snow on Friday and Saturday with winds gusting to 40 mph. Following are photos of some artistic looking winter scenes taken when it was “nice” outside.

The photos are beautiful and expansive, but the ice skating shot makes me worried that your laces look loose! We have a frozen wonderland this winter too and we are in awe of the industriousness of a gorgeous bard owl who hunts our river watershed.

I will be sure to make sure my laces are tighter next time! It would be fun to see photos of your winter wonderland.

Beautiful photos! No matter how uncomfortable it might be to go out, nature is always beautiful.
I know what you mean about driving in snowy weather, too! One of the reasons I’m seeking alternatives to the delivery job.

Thanks! Good luck, you have many talents, so I hope you can find something else that does not involve driving in all weather.

Beautiful winter wonderland, Meg! Thanks for sharing. You will not have ANY snow at our home in March!

Beautiful pictures. Where do you get the wool to make your yarn? That sounds like fun.

Jennifer Esparza got the the first one and said “should I sign you up too I love it”!!! I said I already signed up.
So today I asked her how she enjoyed the last 4 and she said I haven’t gotten any since I signed up!
Possibly other haven’t gotten it either??
Need help. Love Barbara
